We’re back with Episode 17 of The E-Commerce Performance Marketing Show and this is one of those great cornerstone episodes with information that you don’t want to miss!
Since the start of the show sixteen episodes ago, we’ve heard from a lot of e-commerce business owners. Some are just starting out in their journey and others have been around for a while but still have questions about how to scale their business effectively. And one of the bigger issues we’ve noticed is a lot of confusion around the testing process.
Why is testing important? Well, testing thoroughly can help you get the most from your conversions and really help you scale your business effectively. It is the key to optimizing the conversion rate on your sales page.
You don’t want to just drive traffic and not track your results. Once you see what is working, it is a matter of doubling down on that and testing to get a better result.
Tests such as adding free shipping, bonuses, and other value propositions are a great way to really find the secret formula to scale your business effectively. In fact, it is one of the keys to getting the best possible result from your advertising and from your marketing in general.
There’s a lot of confusion around it, so my hope is that this episode will clarify how to approach and use testing. You also need the right tools to gain data so that you can really evaluate the data and determine your results and I’ll even give you the names of a few of my favorite to try out on your own.
Hopefully, this episode gives you an idea about what split testing is all about and how much of a difference It can make.
